Vegeta and Nappa emerge from their pair of space pods. Nappa, bored with the puny Earthlings' power level, vaporizes Metro East with a single blast! Vegeta yells at Nappa, asking him what they would do if one of the Dragonballs had been destroyed along with the city. The two then fly off toward the island where Gohan and Piccolo are training, noticing their abnormally high power readings. Kuririn soon arrives as well, and the three of them face off against the aliens.

     Piccolo hears from Nappa that he is from the planet Namek, learning for the first time who and what he is. At his palace, Kami-sama also reflects on his origins, made more clear after this revelation, and recounts how he created the Dragonballs on Earth so long ago. Nappa, under instructions from Vegeta, buries some seeds in the ground, and soon a crop of six bio-engineered goblin-like Saibaimen emerge!
